THE SHORT VERSION
CheckoutER is a fixed-scope software repair service. Each engagement covers the specific, named payment or access flow described in your order — not your whole application. Anything outside the named flow is out of scope unless agreed in writing.
The 48-hour turnaround starts when you confirm access has been granted (not when you pay), pauses during documented client-side blockers or third-party outages, and stops at delivery of the verification recording. If we miss the deadline, you receive an automatic full refund and keep the diagnosis; you may optionally still let us complete the fix at no charge.
We work least-privilege only: restricted Stripe API keys with permissions you set, collaborator invites to your repo and database, and one-time secret links for anything sensitive. We never ask for passwords. After delivery we tell you exactly which access to revoke, and recommend revoking all of it.
Fixes are built and verified against a staging copy of the affected flow before anything touches production. Production changes are limited to the named flow.
Every fix is verified with a recorded test transaction: by default in Stripe test mode; optionally, with your written consent, a $1 live transaction that we refund immediately (processor fees on that $1 are absorbed by us). The recording is your deliverable and your receipt that the flow works. You have 72 hours after delivery to raise objections, after which the fix is considered accepted.
If the same fixed flow breaks again within 30 days because of unintentional changes (including edits made by AI tools like Lovable or Bolt), we re-fix it free. The warranty does not cover: deliberate rebuilds of the fixed flow, account-level changes such as key rotation or switching payment providers, or breakage in flows we never touched.
All pricing is flat and agreed before work starts. Deadline miss = automatic full refund. After acceptance (see §5), fees are non-refundable — the verification recording documents that the work was delivered working.
Our total liability for any engagement is capped at the fees you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost revenue prior to or during the engagement.
Your code, keys, and business data are used only to deliver the fix, shared with no one, and deleted from our working environment after the warranty period. Verification recordings are retained for the warranty period plus 30 days, then deleted unless you have approved their use as public proof.
We are a software repair service. We do not provide legal, financial, tax, or compliance advice, and we are not affiliated with Stripe, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Vercel, v0, Base44, or Supabase.
